Valeriy Tkachov

 

Deputy Director of the Commercial Department of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia

Valeriy Tkachev has many years of experience in logistics and management. Since May 2020, he has been Deputy Director of the Commercial Department at Ukrzaliznytsia.

From 2013 to 2019, he worked as Deputy Director for Logistics at Delta Wilmar Trading House, served as Chairman of the Board of the Logistics Development Centre, and headed the Rail Freight Working Group at Business Varta.

From 1999 to 2011, he held various positions at Optimus, including CEO of Optimus.

In 2003, he graduated from the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture with a degree in Accounting and Audit. In 2009, he completed his studies at the Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, specialising in public administration, and received a Master’s degree in public administration. In 2016, he completed the PMD Management & Leadership programme at the International Institute of Management MIM-Kyiv, and in 2017 he successfully completed the PMD Mini-MBA programme.
