Roman Leshchenko was appointed Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on December 17, 2020. Prior to his appointment as Minister, he was the Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre since July 2020.
Roman is the author of the monograph “Financial and Legal Regulation of Offshore Mechanisms” and co-author of the textbook “Financial Law”. He’s a member of the Permanent Legal Commission at the Academic Council of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
In 2018 Roman Leshchenko was awarded a certificate of honor of the Cherkasy regional state administration and the regional council “For special service to the Cherkasy region”.
He’s fluent in Ukrainian, English, Spanish, Polish and Russian.
