agriculture expert, former Minister-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

Ukrainian politician, businesswoman, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine in 2019. In 2017-2019, she was among the top 100 most influential women in Ukraine according to Focus magazine.

Olga graduated from the National Agrarian University of Ukraine. She continued her studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin, where she received a PhD in agricultural policy. In Germany, she worked in various business areas. For more than four years, she was a key expert at the German Dairy Industry Association.

In 2016, she headed a project of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture to advise Ukraine on the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement and returned to Ukraine to work on this project.

In September 2016, Olga was appointed Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine for European Integration. In February 2019, she became the acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the first woman in the country’s history to head this ministry.

From 2019 to 2022, Olha Trofimtseva worked in agribusiness and was engaged in public activities. In 2022-2023, she was an ambassador-at-large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Currently, she is engaged in consulting activities in the field of agriculture, international trade, agricultural policy, etc.
