Oleksandr Gaydu

 

Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

Oleksandr Gaydu was elected a deputy of Ukraine of the IX convocation in 2019 from the political party “Servant of the People”, and at the same time became a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy. In May 2022, Oleksandr Gaydu was appointed the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, which testifies to his high qualifications and experience in the field of agrarian policy.

Before entering politics, he was the head of the specialized sea port “Nika-Tera” and also the executive director of “Vibo-Trans” LLC in 2011-2017.

Graduated from Odesa State University of Economics (majoring in “Management and Entrepreneurship”), Odesa National University named after I. I. Mechnikov (majoring in “Jurisprudence”).

He defended his thesis on the specialty “Mechanisms of State Administration”. Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration.
