Mykhailo Rizak’s career began in 2006 as a consultant at the legal clinic at UzhNU, and later he worked as a consultant for the NGO ‘Transcarpathian Science Support Foundation’. Since 2010, he has been acting as an assistant consultant to a Member of Parliament of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and has held important positions in NGOs and government agencies.

In September 2019, Mykhailo joined the NIBULON team, where he worked as Deputy CEO for Government Relations for four years, and in February 2023 became Director for Government Relations at NIBULON.

Mykhailo Rizak is the author and co-author of two monographs, as well as about forty draft laws and 35 scientific articles in professional journals.

In 2020, Michael was nominated as the ‘Best GR Manager of Ukraine’ by Delo newspaper, received awards from the Ukrainian Grain Association and the European Business Association, and was also recognised by the Ukrainian Association of GR Professionals and Lobbyists at the IV All-Ukrainian GR Awards 2021.

Mykhailo Rizak’s education includes:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law from Uzhhorod National University in 2010.
• Postgraduate studies at Uzhhorod National University in 2012.
• Doctor of Juridical Sciences from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2018, together with a certificate of the right to practice law.
• Postgraduate studies at Uzhhorod National University, starting in 2022.
