Mykhailo Malkov has been the coordinator of Development Programs of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Ukraine since 2012, as well as an international consultant to FAO.
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is the UN specialized agency that brings together the world’s efforts in order to fight hunger and malnutrition. FAO includes 194 Member States, two Associate Members and one Member Organization — the European Union. It is headquartered in Rome, Italy, and has offices in more than 130 countries. This organization fosters partnerships between governments, business associations, civil society and the private sector in the areas of food safety and agricultural development. FAO has been working in Ukraine since 2003.
