Larysa has more than 25 years of experience in communications and media. She started her career as a host and author of programs for the Ukrainian editorial office of Svoboda Radio (Kyiv – Munich – Prague), she worked as a special correspondent and TV host of ‘OKNA’ program, as a chief editor of Business Week – Financial Times and New Russian Word (New York).

In 2005 she started working in the public service. She worked as a press secretary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine. In the autumn of 2005 the President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, offered her to create a new type of work for the press service, and in the period of 2005-2010 she was the head of the presidential press service.

In 2010-2014 she worked as a Deputy Chairman of the National Council of Ukraine for Television and Radio Broadcasting. She was the representative of Ukraine in the Steering Committee on Media and Information Society of the Council of Europe.

Larysa graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Faculty of Journalism, and from the International Media Management School (USA) and the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.

She is actively involved in volunteer, social and educational activities. She is a member of the Coordination Council of the Aspen Ukraine Initiative.

She is keen on innovative technologies in the sphere of information policy and education, museum platforms for knowledge and travels.
