Mr. Xu, got his master degree on food biochemistry in 1988, started international trading in 1990 when China was a net soybean exporter, first as a buyer in Nissho Iwai for about 100 agricultural items including soybeans; then as a seller in Andre for soybeans, soybean meal and soybean oil, also a buyer of rice and wheat flour; then as a trader in China Force, being the largest canola trader in year 2000 in China. Since 2008, Mr. Xu spent 4 years in Chinatex Grains & Oils as chief economist, being responsible for the purchase of soybean, canola and ocean freight and 2 years in Dongling Grain & Oil as deputy general manager, managing the overall position. Mr. XU started his new venture since July’2014 with Overseas China Investment Company and Shanghai Goodsoy Trading Limited, doing trading, consulting and broker business on oilseeds, grains and ocean freight, also as consultant of Xiamen ITG Group Corp. Ltd for soybean trading. Mr. XU has become a speaker in Canada, Brazil, Malaysia and Indonesia since 2001.
