Mr. Gennadiy Shulga, with over 28 years of experience in global inspection, testing and certification business, is an acting Vice President, Global Business Development Agri Food Life. Promoting innovation, new projects and initiatives in Agriculture and Food-related services at SGS are among his responsibilities. He is also managing different agricultural market research projects and information services.
Gennadiy has started his working career in 1988 in Ilyichevsk port, as a deputy manager of a container terminal.
In 1990, Gennadiy joined SGS Ukraine and since then he was holding different positions within the group, starting from an inspector to a senior inspector, then a branch manager, a project manager and a business development manager. In 2005 he was appointed Managing Director of SGS Ukraine and for 5 years had been successfully growing SGS business in Ukraine, managing 24 company offices and over 900 employees.
At the same time Mr. Shulga was a Board Member of Ukraine Grain Association and GAFTA Ukraine Trade Committee. He has great experience in agricultural commodity trade and grains in particular, acting for 5 years as Global Grain Product Manager with SGS Group.

Gennadiy has a Bachelor degree from Odessa State University and a Master in Management of Marine Transport from Odessa Marine Engineering University in Ukraine.
