Recently, on February 24, 2016 in Kiev the representatives of the company Cargill and the company MB Cargo formalized their intentions regarding the construction of a grain terminal in the port of Yuzhnyi by signing the contract for seling the Shares in the presence of ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr. Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the USA Ambassador Mr. Geoffrey R. Pyatt, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Mr. Andrey Pyvovarskiy, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mr. Alexei Pavlenko and other government officials.
This grain terminal will benefit Ukrainian agricultural producers and the Ukrainian economy as well as the world food security. Construction of the terminal will be a breakthrough in the Ukrainian economy. This project is crucial to hold a leading position of Ukraine among the countries exporters. Due to the capacities of the terminal it will become possible to handle heavy cargo vessels bringing Ukrainian grain to the markets all over the world!
