Olga Kopiika
Chief Advisor on Legal Issues and Relations with Government of Bunge Ukraine
Cohead of the Logistics Committee of the European Business Association (EBA)
Olga Kopiika has extensive experience in the legal field, and since 2015 she has held the position of Chief Adviser on Legal Issues and Relations with Government of Bunge Ukraine. In parallel since 2018 – the post of Cohead of the Logistics Committee of the European Business Association (EBA) on maritime and river transport.
Bunge Ukraine is part of the international integrated agro-industrial group Bunge Ltd., which has been operating in the market of agricultural and food products since 1818, and is one of the leaders of the world grain market, and one of the world’s largest producers of sunflower oil. The main office of the company is in White Plains, New York, USA. The number of employees exceeds 35 thousand people in more than 40 countries.
In Bunge, Ukraine Olga Kopiika is responsible for legal support of infrastructure projects and communication with state authorities. She was engaged in the successful implementation of a $180 million investment project for the oil extraction plant construction in the Nikolaevsky seaport, which the company completed in 2016.
Olga is included in the rating of 20 successful women of Ukraine – corporate lawyers of the legal newspaper in the category “Ukrainian Women in Law 2018”.
Also, Olga is a teacher of the Legal High School educational platform and she regularly speaks with expert opinion in online and print media.
Prior to joining Bunge Olga Kopiika worked for Mriya Agro Holding, heading the legal support of the company’s trading and infrastructure businesses; and in several other national and international companies in the field of agribusiness.
Olga Kopiika is the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University graduate with a degree in Finance and Credit and the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University graduate with a degree in Law (Master’s degree with honors).
