Miriam Morath is Senior Economic Analyst at the International Grains Council (IGC), a London-based intergovernmental organization, where she covers the analysis of a wide range of commodities within the Council’s remit, national policy and trade developments, freight rates and market prices.
Prior to joining the IGC more than 12 years ago, Miriam worked for 2 years in providing business intelligence to the companies in enterprise applications at Datamonitor’s Technology Business Unit.
Miriam studied business administration and economics in Germany and France.

IGC’s specialization is further international cooperation in grains trade; promotion of expansion, openness, and fairness in the grains sector; and contribution to grain market stability and enhancement of world food security.
