Raivis Veckagans is an experienced top-manager in the sphere of transport and logistics with more than 15 years of successful experience in running transport, logistics and finance companies in Eastern Europe.

Before setting up RV Transport Consulting company in 2020, Raivis ran the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority”, sea terminals in the ports “Riga” and “Ventspils”, and was a member of the board of the Latvian Shipping Company. He successfully implemented the following projects: dredging “Pivdenny” port up to 19 meters and preparation of pilot concession tenders in the ports “Olvia” and “Kherson”.

Raivis sees the further development in the process of transforming the transport sector of Ukraine in accordance with EU standards and the best world practices by means of attracting foreign investors and operators to the Ukrainian market.
